Howdy there fellas, I’m Cowboy. 

Cowboy may be small, but he carries the heart of the Wild West wherever his paws take him. With a wagging tail and a spirit full of sunshine, this happy little pup greets each day like it’s a brand-new adventure on the open range. He loves making friends with everyone he meets, getting along with both dogs and cats, and bringing a little extra joy wherever he goes.While he’s always ready for fun, new places can feel a bit overwhelming at first. But even the bravest cowboys need a moment to take in unfamiliar territory. New places can feel big and overwhelming at first, and Cowboy might pause to take it all in before stepping forward. Give him a little time, though, and you’ll see his courage shine through as he finds his footing and turns uncertainty into another grand adventure, and once he does, his brave and curious spirit shines through. With his sweet nature and adventurous soul, Cowboy is the perfect little partner for life on the trail. Watch out though, as his cuteness maybe a distraction, he can lasso up some shoes in no time! I’m ready to take a sweet joy ride into your heart, so adopt me!

Meet Kochie , pronounced “ Cookie” , the sweetest treat you’ll ever bring home. First things first….Kochie is an American Bulldog- the real deal. Not the flat faced ,wrinkle packed bulldogs that come with a long list of health issues. He’s a sturdy,athletic,healthy ,” let’s go for a walk, but also down for a couch nap “ kind of Bulldog. At 3 yrs old this striking hazel eyed hunk has mastered the art of stealing hearts. He convinces every person he meets they're long lost best buddies. Loves kids,loves people,good with dogs and even non reactive to annoying barky dogs. Kitties are unknown but he’s walked past them with no reaction. Learning great leash skills,kennel trained. Kochie is eager to please,incredibly affectionate and gives out championship level kisses. He is a medium energy dog that would be a great fit to a busy and active home or be just fine with a couch potato home that wants to take a leisurely evening stroll and then binge Dateline specials.

Don’t let the muscles fool you…Palma is basically a marshmallow in a Bulldog suit. Palma is a stunning 3 yr old ,59 lb American Bulldog with a heart as big as his smile. At first glance, Paloma has that classic strong ,handsome American Bulldog look that turns heads. Spend about 30 seconds with him and you’ll discover the truth… he’s one of the sweetest and happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. His tail starts wagging the moment he sees his person. He’s great with kids,adults,has done great with other dogs and is non reactive to barking dogs. Paloma is the perfect combination of cuddle buddy and adventure companion. He has excellent manners and earned an honor role report card on his  leash and crate training. Being a medium energy dog he’d be a great fit for so many homes. He has a really great affectionate temperament and will be a great companion for just about anyone wanting a big sweet lug.

<p>If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.</p>


Puppies don't train themselves

<p>This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”</p>

<p>If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.</p>
