Axel is the name and SWEETIE PIE is my game!
I am a pittie boy with pittie heart of Axel was rescued from the streets of San Antonio, covered in fleas and ticks but full of heart. At just four months old, he settled into my home and quickly bonded with his foster sisters—an American Pit Bull Terrier and a Staffordshire Terrier—discovering how much he loves playtime and companionship. His personality is packed with lighthearted energy, and his “bark box” only goes off when he’s calling his friends for zoomies in the yard or a round of tug-of-war.

His coat is velvety soft, and his big puppy paws hint at the medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier mix he’ll grow into. Axel is a smart little guy, learning his potty-training boundaries and working hard on new tricks—“shake” might be next. He’s still figuring out life with a cat, watching these mysterious creatures with wide-eyed curiosity.

Axel loves exploring outdoors, trying every variety of toy, and greeting strangers with the friendliest attitude. He’ll thrive in a home with other pets or as an only child, as long as he gets the attention he deserves. He seems comfortable with people of all ages, and his laid-back nature makes him an ideal cuddle companion for bedtime or lazy Sunday naps.

Equal parts silly and patient, Axel is eager to learn and full of gentle charm. He has been an absolute joy in my home—always making me laugh and never showing a mean bone in his body. Consider welcoming Axel into your family and look forward to adding a loyal, sweet, and irresistibly charming young man to your life!

Something to Consider:

  • Puppies don't train themselves

If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.

Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.

  • Puppies turn into dogs...
