Meet Lumi! This adorable approximately 3.5-year-old Poodle mix is packed full of personality, affection, and fun. Lumi is the perfect combination of playful companion and cuddle buddy. He believes in giving 100% effort to everything he does, whether that's wrestling with his dog friends, exploring the yard, or snuggling up for a well-earned nap.
Lumi is a social little guy who loves playing with other dogs, especially those his own size. He would thrive in a home with a canine companion who enjoys a good game of chase or wrestling. Despite his enthusiasm, Lumi is a gentleman and takes corrections well from other dogs, especially the ladies.
When playtime is over, Lumi transforms into a total lovebug. He adores people and is happiest when he's close to his humans soaking up attention, belly rubs, and cuddles. His friendly, outgoing personality makes him a joy to have around.
Lumi is also cat-friendly and has several good house manners already in place. He knows how to use a doggy door, is crate trained, and appreciates a soft, cozy dog bed where he can recharge after a busy day of fun.
One look at Lumi's adorable little smile and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him. To help keep that smile healthy and comfortable, Lumi is already scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
To adopt we require… all pets are indoor animals, current on vaccinations and spayed/neutered unless medical reason why and dogs on heartworm prevention.
ADOPTION FEES
Adults are $200 and under a year is $250 in Texas.
Out of state adoptions are $400 – $500.
(Specialty breeds could have higher adoption fees)
Something to Consider:
Puppies don't train themselves
If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.
Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.
