Meet Mofeta 🖤🤍
Tiny body… BIG personality! Say hello to Mofeta, an adorable Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix who weighs in at a whopping 6 pounds. She’s still growing and will hopefully put on a little more weight, but she should remain a perfectly portable pup at under 10 pounds full grown.
At just about 8 months old, Mofeta has already decided that the royal lifestyle suits her best. She is a true velcro dog and strongly believes she belongs in one of two places: your lap or your arms. If you plan to get chores done around the house, you might want to invest in a dog sling, because this tiny princess would happily be carried everywhere you go. 👑
Mofeta can be a little snippy at first until she gets to know and trust you. It seems she may have been through a lot in her short life, so she just needs a little patience and kindness while she learns that she’s safe. Once she bonds with you, she will be deeply devoted and glued to your side.
She gets along with other dogs, but fair warning—Mofeta prefers to be the center of your universe and can get a little jealous if she isn’t getting 100% of the attention. After all… what diva wouldn’t? 💅
When it comes to meals, Mofeta has refined tastes and prefers canned food. Clearly this little lady knows what she likes.
And about that name… Mofeta means “skunk” in Spanish, but don’t worry—she was named for her striking black and white coloring, not her scent. In fact, she smells exactly like the princess she believes she is. 🖤✨
If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a big personality, a dog who will adore you, shadow you, and happily rule your lap, Mofeta might be your perfect match.
Warning: Side effects of adopting Mofeta may include constant cuddles, carrying a 6-pound shadow everywhere, and falling completely in love. 🐾💕

Something to Consider:
Puppies don't train themselves
If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.
Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.
