Valor has many meanings, but all of them center around "performing bravely in the face of great danger". I actually embody that.
My name IS Valor, I came to the rescue in 2020 as a feral dog, in all sense of the word. I was SO scared of people, I didn't want ANYTHING to do with ANY person.
However.... because of an INCREDIBLY patient foster mom and, believe it or not... I was adopted into a nice family in 2021 and returned in 2024. I like women, ok?? I don't trust men and it comes from the beginning of my life so it has been very hard to overcome :(
SO, needless to say, even though I am a "brave" boy... I want to live with women in a home who understands that men make me nervous and I can hang in my crate whenever they come to visit.
I don't think that is too much to ask, for my cute fuzzy face and my love and devotion 😊 I have all kinds of silly love to give, If you watch my video you will see my LOVE and DEVOTION.
I am great with other dogs and would be best in a home with another calm dog. I am not big on puppies or larger dogs but I will play with a calmer, small dog and even might cuddle with them on the couch while you are Netflix bingeing 😊
Here is what my foster mom has to say about my sweet and goofy love, "He's a cute lil affection dude, always greets me and puts his head on my leg as he looks up at me, paw up, so I can pet his belly. He will put his feet on my knees when I'm sitting to get scratches then leans in to give me kisses. But he does not like to be picked up, just freezes." Also, "He's a picky eater... at least to start. He's been eating the BFF chicken shreds (picky picnic) and I've started adding a little kibble with it so it gets soft. Plus lil pieces of organ meat, sardines, cooked rutabaga, beans which he ever so curiously will sniff out but waits until I leave to eat."
So, as you can see she LOVES me and my quirky ways!
I am hoping I will find another wonderful woman family who will love my goofy ways too!!

Something to Consider:
Puppies don't train themselves
If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.
Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.
Puppies turn into dogs...
