Papi is an approximately 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees who has been through a lot and come out shining. He was found by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan with a broken leg. After successful surgery and lots of love, he made a full recovery and never looked back.

Now happy, healthy, and full of life, Papi is ready for his forever home. True to his breed, he is calm, loyal, and incredibly affectionate. Whether he is lounging beside you or keeping a quiet watch over the yard, Papi is the kind of dog who brings peace and joy to any home.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. He is all set to start his new life with a family who will cherish him.

The name Twinkles conjures up images of a pup in a tutu holding a fairy wand that emits sparkles & sunshine from its tip….That image almost perfectly describes the delightful terrier mix Twinkles! 
At 30#, she is on the large end of small or the tiny end of medium-sized, perfect for home or apartment. She wears a perpetual grin & her tail rarely ceases to wag. Her cream colored coat will require occasional trips to the groomer for trimming, but she is not a shedder. 
She loves to play with dogs of all sizes & with toys. She is friendly with people of all ages. If you ignore her, she will stand on her hind legs & excitedly flap her front paws in the air to gain your attention. 
She is crate- & leash-trained & very food oriented, making her easy to train.

Hattie is a 12 week old Frenchie mix (mom is pure Frenchie, dad unknown) She and her siblings were put out on the streets by their breeder owner when they reached 8 weeks old as they weren't "pure" Frenchies. 

Sassy Hattie wandered off and filled up on cat food a neighbor had put out for her cats. The neighbor took her in, then reached out for a foster, and here we are. 

Hattie's favorite game is "What's in your mouth?!" Foster mom says it at least 20 times a day, then Hattie runs off and squeezes into a small space so foster mom can't get whatever she's eating this time. She thinks lizard pouncing should be an Olympic sport and she's confident she can win gold. When she's not playing stupid games to win stupid prizes, Hattie is a pro snuggler and loves to lay upside down on you. 

She's crate trained, super smart, and taught herself to use the doggie door after watching the bigger dogs do it. She's doing great with potty training and will go every time you take her out on the grass. 

She loves to play and would love a playmate who can tolerate her hanging off their tail. Her 2 favorite foster brothers are 2 80 lb pitties. They're convenient step stools to launch herself onto higher spaces. 

Hattie is a fun, playful hide and seek champion with a little bit of mischief rolled in. Her personality is definitely 100% Frenchie. If you're ready for a sassy short menace in your life, Hattie is your girl!

If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.

Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.

Puppies don't train themselves

This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”

If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.
&nbsp;
The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.
