Hi, I’m Cyan—and let me tell you, this whole “being a puppy” thing? It’s a wild ride.

There’s so much to figure out:

How to play without tripping over my own paws

What my new name is (I think it’s Cyan… or maybe “no no no no no!”)

Who gives the best snacks

And most importantly, who I can trust


I didn’t have the easiest start—my mom and siblings vanished, and I was left all alone. I was pretty scared (okay, super scared), and the humans had to trap me like I was a fluffy ninja. But after a few days of soft voices, tasty treats, and patient snuggles, I realized… maybe people aren’t so bad.

Now I’m opening up, and doing great and I'm excellent with other dogs, play super gently, and am respectful of dog boundaries and I’m slowly learning how  this world works 

Looking for a home with a warm bed, a gentle hand, and maybe a dog buddy or two. Bonus points if you’re okay with me being a little awkward at times and a lot lovable.  I love toys and am learning ball.... Oh you wanted me to bring it back to you .. Got it🤣

Their Mama is a purebred Mal and we suspect dad to be shepherd but don't know for sure.

We are always picky on our applications but this breed requires a different owner and we will be tenacious on that
These puppies are high energy and with high intelligence. At just 5 wks old they were learning an obstacle course that the foster made inside the house to focus some mental energy. At 6 wks old they learned sit and what the treat bag meant so we've changed it up. 
They are-Mouthy
Smart
Driven
Intense
And require homes that understand they are dogs and need very active homes, mental games and jobs to do. No chain link fences or you must have a plan. A chain link fence is just a game to them and they will climb it, maybe not right away but it won't take long until they do.
You cannot be lax.. They will OWN YOU

If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.

Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.

Puppies don't train themselves

This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”

If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.
&nbsp;
The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.
