He is a 50# terrier with an adorable underbite and an enticing top knot a La Don King (the boxing promoter). He was isolated in his first foster home, having minimal interaction for a couple of years. Now he is coming out of his shell: tail up & wagging, the look of fear gone from his eyes, even occasional zoomies with his other dog buddies. Buster gets along with cats and dogs. He is fine with all people, meeting them at his own pace. Earning the trust of a shy dog is so very rewarding. Your patience will earn you a steadfast loving companion for life. Please consider giving this overlooked gem of a dog his happy ever after. Attributes:

Meet the Rodeo Pups! 🤠🐾
We may be little, but we’re already full of spunk and love! When the rescue first found us, we were with our mama Emily and our nine siblings. That was a lot for one mama to handle, so when we were just a couple of days old, we went into a foster home to be bottle-fed.

Because of that, we grew up as bottle babies, which means we absolutely adore people! We love snuggling close, hanging out on your shoulder, and soaking up every bit of attention we can get.

We’re playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun. As Border Collie mixes, we’ll bring lots of energy, smarts, and loyalty to our future families.

If you’re looking for a cuddly, people-loving pup who will stick by your side through every adventure, one of us Rodeo Pups might just be your perfect match!

<p>If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.</p>


Puppies don't train themselves

<p>This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”</p>

<p>If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.</p>

<p>And… if you just ‘honest to God’ love puppies and wish they never turned into dogs, we have a great option for you – you can foster puppies!
