You know, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and I'm Bobbi Lou. 

That's the jam folks except freedom in the streets means an empty tummy and that wasn't my jam. MMMM Jam. I like Jam or I bet I would. I like food and it sounds yummy in my tummy.  
Foster mom keeps the kibble bowl full so I never have hungry belly anymore. 

I am a Basset/Beagle mix and 7 years old. I'm 28 pounds and probably won't get bigger give or take a few pounds now that I get food everyday. I've been learning so much in my foster home. I do my potty business outside 99% of the time. I seem to like smaller dogs and am unsure about the bigger dogs that live here. Cats also live here and I'm a little growlie when they get in my space but if they leave me alone I'll do the same.  They taught me how to go into my crate and that's where I sleep. I would much prefer to stay with my human and I don't take up a bunch of space. I stay in the lap area so you can get maximum pets.  Come get me please so I can measure the lap space and make sure I fit. (don't worry I'll fit)

So apparently we are Georgia peaches :) I mean, we r named after Georgia cities :0 And of course, Georgia is known for their peaches and their starry skies... and we agree that we are just like them!
Our story starts much like so so many others in the south.... we were dumped at about 8 weeks old in a median and boy were we scared!! Luckily the lady who found and saved us was going to the exact location daily to feed/water and try to catch two adult dogs who had been hanging out there for almost a year :(
SO, she was very very persistent and got the rescue to take us and we were caught and brought straight to the rescue... and we have been here ever since. 
Our foster mom has been working hard to get us more comfortable with people and being held and loved and we have made LOTS of progress!! We each have our own personality, much like the cities we are named after......
Savannah is a gorgeous blonde peach, she has a shyness to her but once she knows who you are her sweet ways will win you over :) Wrens is sister number two, she is a tall glass of sweet tea, dark tea colored with a playful and silly demeanor. She wants to be loved and is learning to express that more every day... and FINALLY Tybee is the little brother, he looks pretty different than his sisters so we call him the brother from another mister :) Ty Ty is a really really sweet lowrider who loves to be kind of naughty at times (he drags his foster mom's shoes in the yard all the time!!)

Any one of these pups would be fantastic, each one will be best with another dog in the house- a calm and confident dog to play with them and to help them acclimate to their new homes :)
Don't wait too long, these three are really really Southern pups who will charm their way into somebody's hearts ;) Hopefully yours!

 Milo – The Marathon Crasher Turned Cuddle Champion!

Milo didn’t exactly sign up for a 5K, but that didn’t stop him from joining one! This adventurous pup trotted right into a local marathon and straight into the hearts of his future foster family—how’s that for making an entrance?

Since trading in finish lines for fluffy beds, Milo has discovered the magic of toys (they’re amazing!) and developed a special bond with his favorite big teddy bear. He’ll wrestle with any toy, but that bear? Pure love. When playtime’s over, Milo’s favorite way to wind down is being cradled like a baby—belly up, paws in the air, snoring softly. Total goofball vibes.

He’s fantastic with other dogs, crate trained, and working on perfecting his leash and potty manners. Smart, sweet, and full of personality, Milo is now looking for his forever home—a place with plenty of cuddles, toys, and maybe a finish line or two to cross with his new family.

Ready to fall head over heels for this lovable lug? Milo’s waiting!

If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.

Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.

Puppies don't train themselves

This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”

If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.
&nbsp;
The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.
