Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!!
I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET...
I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!!
I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family.
I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :)

Matteo is a 2-year-old FUZZY French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Despite being fully blind, he doesn’t let that slow him down—he’s incredibly smart, friendly, and always up for a cuddle or a little playtime.

He gets along great with kids and other dogs, and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, we haven’t seen any signs that it would be an issue. Matteo is doing well with crate training and is working on his potty training like a champ.

He’s currently thriving in a calm, quiet home and would likely do best in a similar environment without too much chaos. Matteo’s ideal family will be patient, loving, and ready to help him continue building confidence as he navigates the world with his other amazing senses.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will melt your heart every single day, Matteo might be the perfect match!

<p>If you aren’t willing to train a puppy every single day, don’t get a puppy! It isn’t a one-shot deal. You have to be dedicated. And if you aren’t making progress – find someone who can help. Enroll in a puppy training class or hire a trainer. Most cities across the nation have some sort of availability for this kind of help and at different cost levels that would fit your budget.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Puppies are going to poop a lot and pee even more; chew on everything; bite everyone; scratch people and furniture; steal things; destroy something at some point; pull on the leash; not move at all on the leash; bark; cry; beg for attention; and the list goes on. You’re going to have to walk them, bathe them, pick up everything below waist height, buy new shoes, and most importantly: TRAIN THE PUPPY NOT TO DO THESE THINGS! Ultimately, it is your responsibility to teach your puppy that this behavior is unacceptable.</p>


Puppies don't train themselves

<p>This is going to happen every time and incredibly fast. Please, the next time you have the thought, “I want a puppy!” replace the word “PUPPY” with “DOG.”</p>

<p>If your excitement goes down, even the slightest amount, don’t get a puppy.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The average lifespan for a dog is 12 years. The wondrous smell of puppy breath only last a few months. This means you have waaay more time owning a dog than a puppy. We frequently have puppies returned to us for a variety of reasons. Often this results in an extremely adoptable 8 week old puppy being returned a few months later as an 8 month old train-wreck.</p>

<p>And… if you just ‘honest to God’ love puppies and wish they never turned into dogs, we have a great option for you – you can foster puppies!
